PISA (Friday, March 14)

The PISA assessment will be administered to 10th grade students on Friday, March 14.
Schedule for the day:
- 8:30am. Arrival
- 9am. First part of test
- 10:10am. 5-minute break. - snacks in classrooms
- 10:15am. Second part of test
- 11:25am. 15-minute break - snacks in classrooms
- 11: 40am. Questionnaires
- 12: 30pm. Assessment completed - lunch
Students report to these classrooms:
- 10.A room 7
- 10.G room 6
- 10.L room 5
- 10.Ó room 4
- 10.U room 0
Students must use the Chromebooks they have been issued. Students must bring fully charged devices to school. They should also bring a pen/pencil and calculator. We recommend bringing reading material or assignments to work on if students finish early, as Chromebooks cannot be used during the assessment period. Please note that the school is a phone-free zone, so mobile phones are not permitted.
Students not participating in the assessment should report to the library.
After lunch, 9th and 10th grade students will attend "My Future 2025" at Laugardalshöll Arena. The purpose of this field trip is to provide students with opportunities to explore various career paths and educational programs offered by secondary schools. At Laugardalshöll Arena, 24 secondary schools will showcase their academic and vocational programs. School and career counselors, teachers and student representatives will be available to answer questions about programs, student life and admission requirements.
Saturday, March 15, is family day from 10am to 3pm. Everyone is welcome with free admission.
